Timber Frame Great Room and Entrances for Swaggerty Sausage Expansion, PART 2

BBT is known for our craftsmanship, but that doesn't mean we only handle small jobs! Recently, we had the privilege of working with Swaggerty's Farm Sausage to design, fabricate and install some beautiful timberwork in their a truss system for a Great Room and three timber frame entrances. Last week we looked at the Great Room, today's post will look at the three timber frame entrances.

As you can see they keep the same style as the great room -- douglas fir timbers with black steel brackets and tongue and grove decking. However, each entrance also shows how our work can interact with the block, stone and steelwork around it to best merge need, stability, and beauty. As you can see above, each entrance is a little different, but our work can still complement all of them. Below you will see from underneath.
